Advocacy

StandardWork sponsors two campaigns based on our theory of action: “Find the good and praise it.” Both campaigns uplift best practices to prove what’s possible when high-quality, knowledge-building curriculum and aligned instruction and professional learning work together.

The Knowledge Matters Campaign builds national awareness about the impact of knowledge-building curriculum and high-quality literacy instruction on student learning. The Campaign’s flagship projects include the Knowledge Matters School Tour, the Knowledge Matters Review Tool, Knowledge Matters Podcast, and the Knowledge Matters Curriculum Directory.

The Curriculum Matters Professional Learning Network (PLN) is a national community of district administrators who are leading the adoption of high-quality instructional materials and guiding curriculum-based professional learning in their school community. Through dynamic and open professional collaboration, district leaders share best practices and learn from one another’s experiences.
